Pre-Halloween Fun

This was our first year celebrating Halloween at the Outdoor Discovery Center. They had lots of fun activities to do and the kids loved it! We definitely plan on going again next year!

Love this view out my window on a relaxing Sunday afternoon. It's the kids running around the backyard happily that I love most about this view. This could be the last we see of nice weather until spring! :-( This Friday is Halloween and it's going to be much colder by then. Boo. Ha, boo, get it? :-)

Sunday movie night I got the couch to myself for movie night. We watched a Jake and the Neverland Pirates movie that the kids were excited about. They all love JATNP, but Greta recently has really developed a love for that show. We told the kids a few weeks ago about our Disney trip coming up and I think Greta well really love the Disney Junior stage show. Shortly before we told them about the trip, Joe's parents and sister decided to come with us. The details all got worked out and the kids are so excited to have them come along too! Joe's sister has never been there and it's been years since his parents went, so I think they'll have a great trip. We had held off for a bit on telling the kids about the trip so that they could then get more excited about going and be able to start a countdown. They did not react as excitedly like we had thought they would when we first told them, but once it set in, they were super excited to go. Layla is especially looking forward to the Bippity Boppity Boutique. Gibson says he's most excited for the hotel :-).
