Layla discovered her thumb/hand a couple of weeks ago. She doesn't always get the thumb in her mouth--sometimes it's just her wrist or other fingers, but she seems to really like that.

Also, Joe's good friend/neighbor from growing up (Ryan DeYoung) was in a very serious car accident last night. I don't have many details, but please just keep him and his family in your prayers.

Hey! How is Ryan doing? Ya know, I knew the name sounded familiar. Maybe I met him through Joe at some point? Anyway, I heard some of the details last night from a girl whose friend was at the Barn that night. Hope he's doing okay! We'll keep him (and Joe) in our prayers!
He is making progress, but still is in critical condition in the surgical ICU at Spectrum. He's on a ventilator, has a closed head injury, partially collapsed lungs, fractured pelvis and multiple fractured ribs (I got all that from their carepage). So he's in rough shape, but doing better than yesterday!
Hey - I was reading your Blog! I was at the barn on the wednesday night that ryan was at the barn. It's sad about the accident. Luckly it was him only and no noe else. Drinking and Driving is Horrible.
