The beginning of the week was so nice and warm for Tulip Time. And the tulips were beautiful this year! We went downtown Thursday night and it started sprinkling near the end of the night and was definitely turning colder. Friday and today were quite cold (50s) and this afternoon was rainy. We had planned on going back today to try to get better pictures, but with the rain and the fact that we were tired out after painting our garage, for now these are the best we have. Maybe this week we'll put the kids in their costumes again and pose them by the tulips at home, we'll see if we get around to that. I'm still not sure we'd end up with any good pictures:).
It's surprisingg that Greta was even allowed at Tulip Time, her shirt wouldn't stay tucked in, she was wearing Crocs instead of wooden shoes b/c I didn't feel like putting lots of layers of socks on and we were in a hurry, and I didn't even attempt to put her hat on, figured she'd just pull it off. Poor little Dutch girl was a bit of a mess:).
They are at least all smiling...They again watched the kinder dancers and started their own dance while watching. I love how they dance so cute with each other and love to see how they copy the dance moves of the dancers.
Dutch pose:)...
My handsome Dutch boy...
Trying a different position for posing to see if it'd work better...no such luck...
Oh, Gibs...
A quick family pic actually wasn't too bad!
Group shot, take one...
Group shot, take two...terrible! Cracks me up though. Gavin's facial expression is hilarious and the fact that Greta's belly is fully exposed...oh, kiddos, they may not all pose nicely, but they sure do make us laugh:).
Group shot, take three...still not good...
The babies got kicked out of the picture for bad behavior:)...
After pictures in the park, we watched the dancers on 8th Street. The kids got a little closer to the dancers than I could with the stroller and they stood there for almost the entire dance holding hands:).
