I swore I would never own a pair of Crocs. I think they're ugly. I do think they're cute on kids though, so I did get Layla a couple of knock-offs awhile back. Well, I ended up giving in and getting a pair for me. They were pink, they had Mickeys on them, and they were on sale. How could I resist?!? And they even had matching ones for Layla (unfortunately only black/red). They've been pretty handy to wear to go get the mail and such. The day that I got them we were watching Ugly Betty when we got home and they made fun of them on them on the show! Maybe it was a sign that I shouldn't have caved in!! :-)
She won't keep them on her feet as they're a size too big...
She's rather suck on them...(don't worry, they're clean:-D)
Layla hasn't learned to crawl yet. Sometime she scoots backwards, but no crawling yet. She gets very frustrated! She's been especially crabby this week, so hopefully it's teeth and not an ear infection or something. She's been even droolier than normal, so I'm hoping it's just teeth!

Ha ha! I love crocs, they are so comfy and I don't care how dumb they look :-) If you want to get Layla a pair of pink ones they sell them at Family Fare...not the real ones, but they're really cute. They're by the soap on an end cap. I'm going to get Matthew some fake ones for the summer too.
I, too, am a croc owner--I got them for fishing and gardening. Fishing they are great--but gardening they suck. I get dirt in them and then they get wet so my feet are all muddy...

i also said i would never get crocks because i too think they are ugly...but i gave in and got some last summer. I wore them WAY MORE than i ever thought i would. So...you can tell everyone you only will wear them to get the mail...hehe but i bet i see you out in public with them on! :)
I don't like crocs either but how can you resist Mickey Mouse ones:) I must admit I have pink ones for Ella:) JIll
It's nice to know that other people wear Crocs too even though they know they they look dumb!
Um, yeah, Shawna, I probably could have told you that Crocs weren't ideal for gardening:-). And yes, Besty, I confess that I did wear them out for a drive the other day. We went "two tracking" and I got out of the truck to check out a path down to the river and as soon as I stepped out Joe and I both looked at my feet and laughed b/c they would not have been ideal shoes for hiking down to the muddy river:-)--I even had socks on with them! I have yet to wear them out shopping though...I hope that day never comes, but we'll see!! :-) Oh, and Keely, thanks for the info! I actually got Layla some Walmart pink ones last year that I'm hoping will fit her later this summer.
I have crocs too. They're really comfy and I don't think they're THAT ugly:) I love them on little kids. Where did you find the Mickey ones for Layla? They are so cute!!
I got them at the Crocs outlet at MI City...I should have gotten Jonathan a pair too!! Maybe there is a Croc outlet in Orlando that I could check:-).
