Gibs has been wanting a panda party probably about since he turned 3 :-). I actually think last year, he wanted a Cars theme and then as he neared his birthday, he wanted a panda party and I thought about changing it but decided to leave it Cars themed. So this year he finally got his panda party. Currently, he says he wants a pirate party and another Mickey party (he had a Mickey party when he turned 2 but doesn't remember it) so maybe next year he'll have a pirate Mickey party?? We'll see if he changes his mind over the next year.
We had his party on a Sunday for lunch, the day before his birthday. We thought doing a Chinese theme would go well with the panda theme. And Layla enjoyed making decorations for the table by writing Mandarin characters on pieces of paper.
We had beef broccoli, orange chicken, chicken and noodles, salad, fried rice, white rice, egg rolls, pork dumplings and other yummy Chinese foods!
Appetizers...
The big kids' table...
I love his expression here :-)...
Happy Birthday my sweet yet crazy little guy!!
