Gibson's second day today went great! He has taken many of his feedings by bottle, however, they are now increasing his feedings by 3mL each feeding so he soon most likely won't be able to finish his feedings and will then need them tube fed. He started yesterday at 3mL and his 4pm today was 15mL (there are 30mL/oz--so he's not drinking much!). We're so proud of how he's doing though! Last night for his 10pm feeding when the nurse sucked up to see what was in his stomach from the previous feeding they found that he hadn't digested any of that previous feeding, but since then he's done better at not having any residual left. We pray the he continues to digest his feedings okay! Tomorrow they will test his biliruben--he is very red, so there's a good chance he'll have to be on the bili lights to correct that. I was discharged from the hospital today so we left after his 4pm feeding. It was hard leaving him, but hopefully he'll be home soon! Our family doesn't feel complete with him not at home yet! Thankfully we know that he is in good hands. It will definitely be different having another child at home this time while he's in the hospital. With Layla I was able to spend all day at the hospital each day and then Joe would quick come after work. It'll be different this time, but we'll work it out. Joe actually went back tonight for his late feeding and to say "good-night":). We're still quite tired so it'll be nice to get a good nights sleep at home tonight! I'll be up about every 3 hours to pump--but at least it'll just be pumping and then right to bed! I know it won't be quite that easy once he's home:).
He enjoyed his first (sponge) bath today...

Getting his itty bit of hair combed:)...
Sound asleep on dad...

Looking very handsome after his bath in clothes...
