A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

First off, happy belated Thanksgiving!! We had a nice day of food and fellowship with our family and I'm sad that the long weekend is over. Ok, I realize that I never work Thursdays or Fridays, but it was nice to have Joe around for a couple of extra days!

Layla and Elvis have been getting to be closer buddies...she loves watching him and he loves kissing her.

I was trying to get a nice pic of them together, but Layla just kept pulling Elv's skin. He's such a good boy, he just sits and takes it.

Layla, Elv and I go to take care of my mom on Mondays, so here is Layla and her yesterday. Layla was in the middle of getting dressed, that's why she doesn't have pants on:-).

Elv was feeling left out from all the pics I take of Layla, so he wanted some by himself.

I just thought this was cute...looks like she's thinking about something pretty worrisome.

Elv's kennel was pretty entertaining for Gavin today.

I'm not sure what was wrong with Layla today. She normally wakes up at 8/8:30ish, well, today she didn't wake up until I went in and woke her up at 10:30. And she had gone to bed at 8:30 last night. We got a surveillance camera for her crib so we can now watch her on our tv or computer (we call it Laylavision--it's quite entertaining). It was nice to have this morning so that I could make sure she was okay without having to go in and check on her. She then napped from 12:30 until 3:30 and she's been napping all evening...when she was awake today she was crabby. Hopefully she's not crabby tomorrow for Auntie Em...and hopefully she's not getting sick...o, and hopefully she's sleeps good through the night tonight since she's practically been sleeping all day long!
Elv was trying to console her today...he's such a good big brother!

Here are my 3 amigos going over some stuff tonight before Joe left for our church congregational meeting.

Such a cutie! We have one of those cameras too and we call it the Matthew Cam :-) They are the greatest!

Layla is becoming a blond isn't she?!?!?! What a doll...

My grandpa always says that when babies sleep, they grow--maybe she's just growing like a little weed!!!

p.s. yes, we are going to find out on Jan. 20th.
