Just a quick update to let you know that this morning at 4:05am we welcomed Gibson Oliver to our family!! I made it to 34 1/2 weeks and he was 18" and weighed 5 lbs 7oz. He's huge compared to what Layla was! He'll probably hardly need preemie clothes!! So far he's doing great--breathing on his own--the first 24-48 hours will help indicate if he'll keep doing well. We'll know more after that time frame. He took 3mL from his first feeding, but not very well the nurse said and then did not take any from a bottle for his second feeding so he now has a feeding tube in. Here are some pics.
